We had a great time at Camp Mack to at the Camporama. It was cold, wet, muddy but still a ton of fun. Plus we won TWO contest. Look for the prizes at this month's Pack Meeting. Overall the turn out for the event was low. About half of the 800 registered people decided to stay home due to weather. Pack 181 had 12 of the 38 registered in attendance. Those that showed up were rewarded with plenty of time with the BB guns and everyone got to dig through their very own pellet or owl puke. Yep, you read that correctly --individual owl puke. Sanitized of course. Nate and I found a mouse skull. So what contests did we win? We successfully guessed the number of Tootsie Pops in a large jar. We also won the Funniest award in the pumpkin carving contest. The jack-o-lantern is sitting on my front porch now, I'll be sure to bring to the Pack Meeting for all to enjoy. |
